Our Thanksgiving baby turned into a Halloween baby.
Quite to Ryan and my surprise I woke up at about 3 a.m. and my water had broke. We got everything ready to go and took Makenna to my mom's house and headed to the hospital. Ashlyn Eileen Ackerman was born at 10:55 a.m. Oct. 28. and was 7 lb 11. oz and 20 inches long. Pretty good size baby since she was a month early. We are all doing great and so far Makenna has been a great big sister. She loves holding Ashlyn and giving her lots of kisses. I hope this continues. We shall see.

Miss Ashlyn - welcome to the world, you sweet baby girl! We can't wait to meet you and tickle your toes! You are so lucky to have such a great big sister! Congrats Kari & Ryan - your new girlie is perfect in every way! Look forward to seeing you real soon : )
Makenna, You're going to be Mommy's little helper and I know you'll make sure Ashlyn has lots of hugs and kisses. We are so happy for all of you.
Congratulations! She is another beauty and I love her name. Hopefully we can meet her at Christmas time.
